When a player calls a deal, one shouldnt just call the bet right away. One has to realize that information can be given out very qyuickly in the playing position. There are some cases in Hold Em Poker when calling the hand seems right:
1. Call if the player has a hand that is noty easily dominated. This means looking out for the Queen, Jack or a pair of 6's.
2. Call if one has a strong but steady hand and if the players would raise their bets.
3. Call if the pot has a good amount of odds.
If the need arises for one to raise, here are some tips to take note of:
1. If one has a set or hand that is not dominated right away. Hands that have a medium or small pair of connectors like a Queen and Jack to a suite of 66.
2. When a player is in a late position and no one has yet called or bluffed.
3. In a small blind, and when no one else has called a big blind. The action could be is to fold.
4. If a player has raised, other people have called, then go for the big added bet to offset odds.
If the position is the desired aim of the player, one can choose the best place in order to go for the kill if:
1. One has a good hand of all the rest and sure one will call.
2. One does not have the best hand, but can estimate other players would fold.
3. Getting good pot odds despite the luck of other players
Playing with attitude gets one in a bad bind. Being in a bad state is something to be avoided for in the outcome is that the player loses the game bit by bit until there is nothing left in their bank roll and in their wits. Attitude means ego and ego means pride. With much pride does one have the tendency to play to show off and make deals and tricks that isnt really necessary. Playing with the ego in tow isnt a good idea. One should leave their egos at the door.
Playing in Hold Em is one huge task of checking and re-cjecking the odds. Players who are in this field should see that it doesnt really matter where one is as long as one can control the movement of the game. Its about placement and positioning of hands and a bit of luck too.
